Years after sparing the man who killed his son, former police sergeant Barnes has become head of security for Senator Charlie Roan, a Presidential candidate targeted for death on Purge night due to her vow to eliminate the Purge.
Ok so we have another installment in the Purge Franchise and i enjoyed it. The one thing about these movies is the original really wasnt as good as part 2, and part 3 was still better than the original as well. Now i know some of you may beg to differ but hey, im just giving my opinion. Ive seen a few thousand horror movies in my day so i may know a little about them. Moving on. We got a Political candidate who lost her family years earlier during a purge night. She is trying to get elected so she can shut down purging and protect the poor from being killed by the rich. This does sound awful familiar to what happens to us all daily in America but I digress...
So like an idiot she decides to stay home and ride out purge night instead of going to a safer shelter to ride it out. She gets double crossed by her security detail and escapes with none other than Leo,who is masterfully played by Frank Grillo, whom you may remember from "The Purge Anarchy" as well. Along the way they meet up with some anti purge supporters and its a battle to the finish line from there.
I will not spoil the rest of the movie but i will recommend that you watch it. its worth the time. I hope they keep the purge franchise going, its just starting to get interesting for sure.
