Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.

OK so Pandemic is a crazy little film that surprisingly i found enjoyable and entertaining. it definitely breathes a little life into a sub genre of film that has been overdone in my opinion in recent years. its well put together with a cast that is just dripping with talent. Alfie Allen Of "Game of Thrones",Mekhi Phifer,Paul Guilfoyle, Missi Pyle, the list goes on and on. So the basic idea of the film is an outbreak of course that turns people into blood thirsty cannibals of sorts. The virus has five stages and if you run into a stage five, you're in some serious trouble. So our main character Lauren,played by the very talented Rachel Nichols, ends up in a facility that is searching for a cure for this outbreak. They send people out on missions to the city to look for survivors and supplies. Our team goes out on said mission but each team member seems to have an agenda of their own. As usual the best of intentions lead to botched plans with dire consequences. Our group ends up fighting for their lives and add kill after kill to their resume as the movies gets really rolling. the special effects and make up artists need a serious pat on the back for their efforts in this movie. well done people, well done.

Blood,guts, and cannibalistic rabid freaks,are what keeps you on your toes in this gem of a "b" horror scifi flick. Do give it a try though if you love this sub genre. its bloody gruesome fun.
